Hello! As some may know, RacerX had to step down as channel lead for #nixhelp due to RL commitments. He is now back again, twice as dedicated, twice as mean and twice as helpful ;). The HC welcomes RacerX back to the position as channel lead for the unix/linux help channel #nixhelp. If you have, or know someone, with good skills regarding linux/unix and is a good helper please contact RacerX. Good luck. Spanish help channel

Hello! The founder nick of #DalnetAyuda has expired and the channel along with it. This means we, the HC/DALnet, for the time being have no recommended spanish channel. Hey! After a long time of monitoring, investigation and interviewing the HC has decided to grant Wuher and #helpdesk the status back. From this moment #helpdesk is once again a recommended Help Committee channel. The channel #helpdesk mainly deals with scripting and bots. If you have any question about the channel please contact the founder Wuher or any of his staff. Hello! The #helpdesk staff along with its new founder have applied to HC to regain their lost HC status when the prior founder nick expired. It has been decided to put #helpdesk on a probation. This means they will function as a recommended HC channel regarding scripting and will be monitored and evaluated from time to time. So send users in need of script help to #helpdesk thank you. Hey! As some of you might know, the founder of #helpdesk has expired along with the channel. This means that the channel automatically loses its status and at this point is no longer a recommended HC channel. Should the new founder desire to become one he must re-apply to the HC and be evaluated like any other new channel. FYI: If send users to #helpdesk remember they are no longer a HC channel and therefore don't have to follow our policies. Hello, Here comes a few announcements from the HC team :). After some extensive monitoring and discussion the HC team has decided to give the romanian help channel, #RomaniaHelp, a 30 days probation as a recommended HC channel. This means if you have any user asking for IRC/DALnet help in the romanian language be sure to send them to zappu and his crew. If everything goes well the channel will become the newest addition to the recommended HC channels. Congrats to zappu and his crew and good luck. The HC team is constantly looking for new improvements when it comes to the channels and are therefore bringing in two new members to the family to bring in new fresh ideas :). Say welcome to HorseC, founder of #mIRC, a man who has been around for some years and is well experienced in the help business. Second and last is Angie, one of the "newer" additions to the oper tribe, well known in #operhelp where she spends a lot of time helping users. Also to mention is that Edgy_guy left the team not long ago and we want to thank him for his time and dedication to the team.
