Greetings All,
After a long hiatus, the coding team has released Bahamut 1.8.5. This release is a minor patch release, including several bug fixes and a few enhancements. This is the first release we've made since switching to git late last year.
Primarily of note will be the removal of zlib from the Bahamut source tree. You will now have to install zlib yourself as a third-party dependency. You can find more information about the zlib library at www.zlib.net.
Other items of note: - We've updated the source tree for x86_64 support. We're not entirely sure this is complete due to lack of x64 testing hardware, but we haven't seen any issues. - We've added hooks for the following events:
Wow, tabbed out a bit quick there and sent that prematurely... Continuing!

- We've updated the source tree for x86_64 support. We're not
entirely sure this is complete due to lack of x64 testing hardware, but we haven't seen any issues.
- We've added hooks for the following events:
- SENDBURST - JOIN - THROTTLE - FORBID - Several security-type fixes for things like squelched users PART messages not being squelched.
You can get Bahamut 1.8.5 currently at http://code.dal.net/release/bahamut-1.8.5.tar.gz - it will also be available on www.dal.net and ftp.dal.net shortly.
If you're interested in helping us out, please grab a copy of the git tree at http://code.dal.net/bahamut.git (using git-clone). Feel free to shoot patches to coders@dal.net or dalnet-src@dal.net and we will take them into consideration!
On behalf of the coding team, Thanks!
